Job Summary
Responsible for assisting a designated machine operator or production team in a variety of functions including maintenance, clean‑up, yard work, warehouse duties, production, utilities, material handling and other related tasks.
Job Responsibilities
Handle assignments in a repetitive and/or sequential order to complete assigned tasks.
Operate machinery or equipment such as hoppers, bagging and sealer machines, forklift, palletizers, hydraulic equipment, powered tractors, or vehicles.
Clean up machinery and conveyors, maintain the surrounding area, and keep equipment free of debris during downtime.
Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks.
Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
Job Requirements
High school diploma, equivalent, or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience.
Ability to read, write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
Knowledge of basic math and measurements.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs from ground level, occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance if needed.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
Compensation
Pay rate for this position is $23 per hour.
Vacation hours of two weeks per year.
Sick leave benefits in accordance with State Laws.
