Responsibilities
Examine specifications of the customer’s order using drawings, work orders, or blueprints to determine the characteristics of the finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.
Fabricate work pieces as determined by work order specifications.
Retrieve correct materials and perform various fabrication duties.
Examine work pieces visually, by touch, or by using a tape rule, calipers, or gauges to ensure product meets desired standards.
Package items for shipping. Install protective devices to ensure shipped materials do not shift or become damaged during transport.
Follow company safety policy and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Typically requires 0-2 years of experience.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications: This is not a welding position.
There will be cutting and bending of rebar with 1/2" tolerances using a machine.
Forklift experience.
Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
