Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a

Licensed Electrician

to support a large project for the US Government at

Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling . The

Licensed Electrician

role is ideal for a journeyman or master electrician with hands‑on experience installing, testing, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems, controls, and smart building technologies. The position is on site at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, requiring the ability to obtain base access and a US government security clearance.

Responsibilities of the Licensed Electrician

Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components, and devices in accordance with blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.

Install and mount electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and related components.

Perform interlock wiring as required.

Test electrical systems and verify continuity of circuits in wiring, equipment, and fixtures using appropriate testing devices.

Inspect installation sites and review work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine material requirements and installation procedures.

Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of issues and perform corrective repairs.

Read and interpret contract drawings and electrical schematics.

Troubleshoot EMS systems, smart breakers, and relays.

Qualifications of the Licensed Electrician

Must be a licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician.

Minimum of four (4) years of experience working in the electrical industry.

Must have commercial electrician experience.

Ability to bend/install up to 150 feet of conduit per day.

High School diploma or GED required.

Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.

Reliable transportation required.

Compensation for the Licensed Electrician

Hourly rate range: $35.50 - $38.00/hr depending on experience.
