
Guest Assistant Stay Suites Full-Time 7PM - 7AM

This role is primarily responsible for the routine administrative and supportive duties to assist guests during their stay and ensure the facility runs smoothly.
Qualifications
High school diploma required
Minimum of 1 year experience
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and patient populations
Healthcare background in Patient Care Technician, State Tested Nursing Assistant or MA required
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required
Responsibilities
Greet guests and family members
Verify information for guests stay
Orient guests to suite and functions of equipment such as TV, call light, furniture, and blinds in room
Assist Nurse Navigator with tasks including:
Recording vital signs
Explaining daily activities to guests
Assisting guests with ambulating to bathroom if necessary
Ensuring guests have ice packs changed frequently
Ensuring guest safety with visual observation
Promoting patient/family understanding of the educational content and involvement in the plan of care
Performing other clinical functions as delegated and supervised by the Nurse Navigator
Accurately advise other team members regarding guest needs and status
Inspect equipment for proper working conditions
Assist in work area by cleaning guest rooms and area
Assist in storing and stocking supplies and items
Respond in a timely manner to meet the needs of the guest
Assist in the check-out of guests following evaluation by Nurse Navigator
Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands
The employee must be able to lift and/or carry over 20 pounds on a regular basis and be able to push/pull over 25 pounds on a regular basis. The employee must be able to stand and/or walk at least five hours per day.
Work Environment
The work environment includes frequent sitting, conversing, and listening; use of hands to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reaching with hands and arms. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
