Our client, a leading e-commerce and cloud infrastructure company, is looking to hire a Technical Support Tech I in New Carlisle, IN.
Pay Rate Range: $22/hr to $25/hr W2, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to end users and assist with resolving hardware and installation issues
Move, install, and implement large enterprise equipment in a data center environment
Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cabling between equipment
Perform hardware installation, rack setup, and break-fix activities
Maintain proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation
Safely use material handling tools and equipment
Document, track, and monitor technical issues to ensure timely resolution
Support day-to-day operations in a fast-paced data center environment
Requirements:
High School Diploma required (must be listed on resume)
0-3 years of experience in technical support, cabling, wiring, hardware installation, or related field
Experience as a Cable Technician, Fiber Technician, Electrician, Field Technician, Telecom Technician, IT Support, Helpdesk, or Data Center Technician is preferred
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs and participating in team lifts for heavier equipment
Ability to work in cramped, elevated, and noisy environments
Able to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and lift for 8+ hours per day
Comfortable working onsite and supporting a 24/7 operational environment when needed
