A leading commercial litigation is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to support their trial practice. The firm represents Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, and entrepreneurs in complex disputes across financial services, real estate, technology, oil & gas, and healthcare.
What You'll Do
Provide day-to-day litigation support across a caseload of complex commercial matters in state and federal court
Manage case files, deadlines, and docket calendars with precision
Prepare, format, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery
Coordinate e-filings via PACER/ECF and Texas state court systems
Assist with trial preparation including exhibit organization, binder preparation, and logistics
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Support multiple attorneys simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
What You Bring
2–5 years of litigation legal assistant experience, preferably in commercial or business litigation
Strong working knowledge of Texas state and federal court rules and procedures
Experience with e-filing systems (PACER/ECF)
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
Proactive, self-sufficient work style — this is a lean, entrepreneurial environment
