WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR
SHIFTS: 2ND AND 3RD SHIFT
LOCATION: DUBUQUE, IA
Job Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods. This role supports inventory accuracy, coordinates shipments, and maintains a safe and organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling deliveries and pickups
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory counts and audits
Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely operations
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials
Support order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping
Identify and resolve discrepancies in shipments or inventory
Enforce safety procedures and company policies within the warehouse
Assist with training new warehouse staff as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
Familiarity with inventory systems or warehouse management software
Strong organizational and time management skills
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar tools)
Ability to lift and move heavy items (typically up to 50 lbs)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Work Environment
Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures
Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
Preferred Skills
Experience in logistics coordination or supply chain operations
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
