Description

We are hiring a

Senior SAP Basis Consultant

to join our SAP NetWeaver / Basis team and help support and evolve our SAP ERP landscape. This role will play a key part in ensuring the stability, performance, security, and modernization of our SAP environments as the organization evaluates and advances its long term ERP strategy.
This position requires deep SAP Basis expertise, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex enterprise environment that includes both established SAP platforms and newer cloud based technologies. The ideal candidate brings strong ownership, sound technical judgment, and the ability to partner closely with application teams and infrastructure stakeholders.
Supporting Meaningful Work
This role exists to:
Provide enterprise grade SAP Basis and platform services
Serve as a trusted partner to SAP application teams across Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HR, and other business areas
Support ongoing modernization of the SAP ERP landscape, including cloud adjacent capabilities
Act as a platform consultant, guiding both internal teams and external partners on SAP technical best practices
As SAP's ecosystem and delivery models have evolved, the Basis role has shifted from traditional system administration toward platform stewardship, integration, and advisory leadership - while still requiring strong foundations in core Basis disciplines.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required.
At least 5 years of SAP Basis experience required.
Desired Skills and Experience

At least five years of SAP Basis experience required (S/4 HANA strongly preferred).
SAP Basis experience in a large enterprise environment strongly preferred.
Experience working in an Agile (SCRUM) environment preferred.
Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills are a must.
Experience with S/4HANA in the Cloud and/or RISE with SAP is a significant plus.

The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $128,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Steelcase considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
