Orthopedics Physician

Duration: Full Time
Coverage Needed:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: 4-5 days per week, two weeks per month
- No call required
Clinical Details:
- General orthopedic surgery including joint replacement
- Focus on hips, knees, shoulders, and hand (high volume)
- Includes injections and trigger points as part of the clinical volume
- EMR: Meditech
- Support Staff: Allocated MA in clinic, experienced OR staff with 2 CRNAs
- No surgical PA available
- Will be the only provider, no other specialists available
- Will need to be independent with office and OR notes and orders
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year commitment
- Seasoned orthopedic surgeon capable of independent practice
- Current Maine medical license required
- Knee replacement experience is necessary
- Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS)
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a clinical setting
