Job Brief
We are seeking a highly motivated
System Operational Technician
to provide support for end-user software and hardware technologies and technical equipment at our corporate offices and various site locations. You will thrive in a fast-moving, demanding environment and have an eye for detail. If you enjoy solving problems, working independently, and supporting IT operations, we want to meet you!
Key Responsibilities
Travel to sites (80%+) to install and remove equipment (network infrastructure, registers, cabling, PCs, printers, etc.)
Perform site surveys for new acquisitions, constructions, and remodels
Manage and oversee IT-related projects for conversions and remodels
Provide daily hardware and software support for business operations and projects
Respond to incident tickets on Microsoft Windows, business applications, and hardware issues
Image and stage new hardware for business operations
Provide training and guidance for lower-level Technicians
Develop technical documentation and support processes
Evaluate and test emerging technologies
Qualifications
Must be able to travel (Real ID/Passport required)
Ability to install low voltage cabling (data, phone, IT tasks)
Basic computer and networking skills
Reliable transportation to get to office/airport
Basic data infrastructure knowledge
Ability to read wiring schematics and blueprints
Safe use of power tools (drills, saws, etc.)
Ability to work on-site with little supervision
Professional communication skills (technical & non-technical)
Advanced critical thinking and strong customer service skills
Technical documentation writing skills
Self-organization and time management
Physical Requirements
Sitting, typing, frequent talking, eye/hand coordination
May climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasional lifting (10-40 lbs)
