Carolina Reserve of Laurel Park, a community of Navion Senior Living located in Hendersonville, NC, is seeking Certified Medication Technicians for medication administration roles. Our Medication Technicians are responsible for delivering high‑quality medication administration and resident care oversight in a cutting‑edge Assisted Living Community.
This is a Part‑Time opportunity

to join our team on the 1st shift in supporting our residents!

Responsibilities

Demonstrates a positive working relationship with residents, family members and staff.
Promotes and protects residents’ rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
Attends in‑service and education programs and obtains continuing education required by state regulations.
Demonstrates the ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
Maintains confidentiality of residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
Maintains professional appearance by adhering to community dress code.
Documents in an informative and descriptive manner.
Reports all changes in a resident’s condition to the supervisor as soon as possible.
Completes work schedules and assigned tasks in accordance with the community’s established policies and procedures.
Operates equipment in a safe manner and only uses equipment with prior training.
Utilizes infection control precautions and practices with all activities.
Demonstrates knowledge of fire and emergency procedures and reports all safety violations.
Requirements

High School diploma.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Successful completion of a State‑Approved Medication Aide course.
Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
Must be able to express oneself adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families and staff members.
Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for seniors without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others.
Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment.
