Mechanical Drafter / Modeler

Skilled CAD / Mechanical Drafter to support large-scale engineering data standardization. The role involves updating legacy designs, improving drawing quality, and ensuring compliance with defined engineering standards using NX and AutoCAD.
Design and detailing of components using metals, plastics, and ceramics as per relevant industry standards.
Effective collaboration with internal team, stakeholders, and customers during various phases of the project execution.
Working with complex sub-systems and components for upgradation, and modification of modules.
Performing BOM management, red line mark ups
Preparation of technical documents such as manuals, instructions, reports, operation, and maintenance sheets, etc.
Requirements (Must have)
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Mechanical Design and development.
Worked on projects from input requirement to final product release (input gathering, concept design, detailed design
Should have hands on experience in CAD tools Siemens NX (3D modeling & drafting)
Good understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Exposure to BOM management and configuration control
Design expertise in machined, sheet metal, weldments, and plastic parts.
Experience working with 3D CAD, 2D drawings of complex assemblies and engineering documentation of products complying with industrial standards.
Assembly design and structure
Engineering problem identification and troubleshooting a variety of mechanical problems with limited supervision.
