Package Test Technician

Applus+ Keystone, a regulatory compliance test lab located in New Castle, PA, is currently seeking candidates for a Package Test Technician position. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent character, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. We are looking for someone who can work independently, is self-motivated, and can manage their time effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Testing activity includes but is not limited to placing items on shakers, drop testers, in thermal chambers and a multitude of other test equipment.
Conduct package testing procedures on products to ensure they meet the quality standards.
Identify and address package design issues.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of testing procedures and results.
Assist with the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to package testing.
Qualifications
Be as comfortable working with tools as working on a keyboard.
Perform assigned tasks with a high level of attention to detail and quality.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Ability to lift and handle equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods while conducting tests.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer. Citizenship must permit compliance with the requirements of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
