Position Description
Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate at Ryder in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Pay & Schedule
Hourly Pay $19.75 per hour
Additional Pay: $1.00 when working mid shift
First Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Mid Shift: Monday-Friday 10:30 am - 7:30 pm

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Six months of related warehouse experience required; one year or more preferred
Certified to operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks)
Ability to read, perform basic math in English, and follow safety procedures
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Ability to input data into WMS computers
Work overtime as assigned
Strong professional relationships across all levels of the organization
Team player and independent worker
Self‑driven and adaptable to a fast‑paced environment
Highly organized, excellent time‑management, and detail oriented
Intermediate knowledge of maintaining powered industrial trucks (battery change, common mechanical issues)
May be required to operate manual or automated manufacturing equipment (e.g., packaging line)
Responsibilities
Package, kit, assemble orders and materials.
Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers; ensure accurate scanning and secure facility at shift end.
Assist in training dock employees on new procedures and resolve scanning issues.
Perform picking, packing, and quality checks for product or container damage.
Execute material moves following company policies and procedures.
Participate in workgroup and team activities to improve warehouse operations.
Maintain assigned area housekeeping duties.
Execute other duties as assigned.
