TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) for a Family Medicine Acute Care role within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Highland Park, California.
This permanent, full-time opportunity operates in a hybrid in-person telehealth model, providing acute care services to an underserved urban population within a structured outpatient clinic setting.
This position is ideal for a bilingual provider who enjoys fast-paced acute care, team-based collaboration, and mission-driven community health work.
Position Details

Role: PA Family Medicine Acute Care
Setting: Outpatient Clinic In-Person Telemedicine Model
Location: Highland Park, CA
Schedule: Monday Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Call: No nights or weekends
Patient Volume: patients per day
Start: Immediate openings
Work Style: Team-Based
EMR: Currently utilizing AmazingCharts; transitioning to NextGen in the coming months
Practice Environment
Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
Serves underserved, low-income, uninsured, and indigent urban population
Multiple outpatient clinic locations throughout Los Angeles County
Acute care visits conducted via telemedicine while provider remains onsite
Multidisciplinary care team environment
Multi-specialty outpatient services available across network locations
No inpatient responsibilities
Candidate Requirements:
Master of Science (M.S.) Degree
Physician Assistant
Minimum one (1) year of urgent care experience as a certified provider (training rotations do not qualify)
Active California licensure
Bilingual English/Spanish required (must conduct full assessment without interpreter)
Board certification required
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation: $80 $85 per hour
