Surgery - General Physician Assistant

A health services network in Connecticut is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Thoracic Surgery team in Fairfield County. About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 3-4 days per week
• Hours: 10-hour shifts
• Setting: OR, inpatient, outpatient

Responsibilities:

• First assist in the OR
• Inpatient rounding, admissions, and discharges
• Outpatient clinic visits
• Multi-site collaboration with the Thoracic Surgery team
• Travel between multiple hospital sites

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• CT Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• BLS certification
• Experience in Thoracic Surgery
• Robotic Surgery expertise
• Comfortable in an Operating Room, Inpatient, and/or Outpatient settings
• Strong communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Advanced degree in a related field
• Robotic surgery certifications
• Experience as a First Assistant in Thoracic Surgeries
