Nocturnal Teleradiologist Locum / Ongoing Coverage

CommonSpirit St. Luke s Health is seeking an experienced Nocturnal Teleradiologist to provide overnight remote coverage for multiple community hospital sites throughout the greater Houston area. This position focuses primarily on ER and STAT inpatient imaging, with a broad general radiology case mix.

️ Schedule
  • Rotation: 1 week on / 3 weeks off
  • Hours: 9:00 PM 6:00 AM CST
  • Coverage: 7 consecutive nights during on-week
Practice Scope & Case Mix
  • Practice Type: General / Emergency Radiology
  • Overnight Focus: Primarily ER and STAT inpatient studies
  • Modalities Include:
    • CT
    • MRI (body and neuro imaging)
    • Ultrasound
    • Plain Films (X ray)

Case Mix Notes:

  • Approximately 12% of reads are head
    euro studies
  • Remaining volume is predominantly body imaging
  • Detailed modality split (YTD) available for rate structure review
️ Turnaround Time Expectations
  • STAT studies: Typically within 1 hour
  • Non STAT studies: Typically within 48 hours
️ Technology & Systems
  • PACS: Nuvodia / Stentor (Philips IntelliSpace)
    • Access will be built/provided by the client
  • Dictation:
    • Teleradiologists typically utilize their own interfacing dictation system within the PACS environment

Ideal Candidate
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiologist
  • Strong comfort with overnight ER and STAT imaging
  • Experienced with cross sectional and general diagnostic reads
  • Efficient and accurate in a teleradiology workflow
  • Able to meet STAT TAT expectations reliably
  • Available for consistent 1 week on rotations
