Required Skills:

• Active Oregon medical license and DEA certification (preferred but not mandatory since prescribing is not required)
• Board Certified or within 3-5 years of completing residency and truly eligible for certification
• BLS certification
• Experience in cancer genetics, high-risk patient management, and genetic counseling
• Ability to conduct pre- and post-test counseling
• Strong communication and patient management skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with tumor-based genetic screening programs
• Knowledge of prevention strategies and precision oncology initiatives
• Prior experience working independently in a clinic setting

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD degree from an accredited institution
• Proven experience in medical genetics, especially in adult oncology populations
• Previous locum or outpatient clinic work preferred but not required

Other Requirements:

• Availability to cover three clinic days per week from 8 am to 5 pm, with 60-minute new patient appointments and 30-minute follow-ups
• Must enroll with payors upon confirmation; no hospital privileges required
• Willingness to commit to a 3-6 month assignment, providing coverage during provider leave
• No procedures involved; this is strictly consultation and counseling
