Join Our Team as an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician - Make a Difference in Women's Healthcare

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician to provide exceptional care within a vibrant community health setting. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a supportive team of OB providers and midwives, delivering comprehensive women s health services, including deliveries, in an environment committed to patient-centered care. Your expertise will directly impact the health and well-being of diverse patient populations, including teenagers and adults.

Required Skills:
  • Active New York State Medical License
  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (must be BC; BE not accepted)
  • DEA Certification
  • Proficiency in OB and GYN procedures, including deliveries
  • Experience with EMR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Availability to support a minimum of 3-4 weeks per month, including 24-hour hospital call shifts

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in a community health or outpatient setting
  • Familiarity with ultrasound technology
  • Prior work in hospital or clinic environments managing high-volume patient care

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • At least 2 years of obstetrics and gynecology practice experience
  • Proficiency in managing high-volume deliveries ( 1500 annually)

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work onsite including hospital deliveries at Good Samaritan
  • Availability for 7-day rotating call schedule
  • Valid driver s license and willingness to minimize travel expenses (local candidates preferred)
  • Onsite accommodations available during 24-hour call shifts
  • Credentialing process estimated at 60-90 days

Compensation:
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $222.30
