Gastroenterology Physician

Key Responsibilities:
- Full-time permanent placement
- Diagnose and manage GI and hepatobiliary disorders (GERD, IBD, IBS, liver disease, GI bleeding)
- Perform endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, polypectomy, PEG; ERCP/EUS if trained)
- Provide inpatient consults and participate in GI call rotation ( 10 days/month)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure quality metrics and documentation standards
Practice Environment:
- Strong referral base and established patient volume
- Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents
- EMR: Meditech
- Experienced support staff
