A Snapshot of Your Day (Position Overview)
This is a newly created role within Siemens Energy’s Field Service organization, designed to support the significant growth of the Open Market Nuclear business. As nuclear facility upgrades drive increased project volume and financial complexity, you will play a critical role in ensuring strong financial oversight across a portfolio of complex contracts.
You will focus on three key areas: Financial Project Management & Controlling, Business Partnering with technical and leadership teams, and Financial Reporting & Analysis. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision‑making in a highly regulated and technically complex environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Lead the full financial lifecycle of complex nuclear field service projects, including bid development, project setup, execution, and closeout.
Perform cost controlling, variance analysis, and revenue forecasting to ensure alignment with budgets, contract milestones, and business targets.
Maintain financial data integrity within SAP and other systems, including project structures, cost plans, billing plans, and invoicing activities.
Act as a key finance business partner, advising project managers and leadership on financial performance, risks, and decision‑making.
Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and risk assessments to senior stakeholders to support operational and strategic planning.
Drive accurate financial reporting and analysis, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls while identifying opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.
What You Bring (Requirements)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
5–8 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, project controlling, or a Commercial Project Management (CPM) role, preferably within energy, power generation, or industrial services.
Strong expertise in financial management, including budgeting, cost accounting, forecasting, and corporate finance principles.
Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems, with the ability to manage complex project financials and reporting structures.
Excellent analytical, influencing, and communication skills, with a high level of accountability and ability to partner effectively across cross‑functional teams.
