Better Buzz Coffee is opening another location in Hesperia, CA. We are excited to create new BUZZ brand fans in the neighborhood and seek Shift Supervisors for our brand new location, opening July 2026. Training will be provided at our San Jacinto cafe. 13140 Main St., Hesperia, CA 92345.

Responsibilities
Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service
Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks
Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards
Work across cafe positions; cross-trained in barista roles and kitchen tasks as needed
Help run and administer a smooth schedule for breaks, meals, and shifts
Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work, and special tasks
Lead all shift duties as directed by the manager on duty
Lead store cleanliness and safety; be ready for guests and teammates
Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team
Balance and manage deposits
Participate in inventory and waste management
Adhere to opening and closing duties checklist and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager or leadership
Our shift supervisors have the opportunity to learn the entirety of our business:
Cashier - Point of Sale
Expo - Inside & Outside Order Taking
Drive-Thru operations (if applicable)
Support Third-Party Delivery & Online Orders
Back of House – Cooking & Prepping
Qualifications
1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred
Previous fast-paced coffee experience preferred
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Drive-Thru experience preferred
Guest service focused, solution oriented
Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service
Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Must be available to work 28 hours/week including nights, weekends and holidays
Must be able to work a mixture of opening, closing, and mid-shifts as dictated by business needs

Compensation
Base pay is $17.50 per hour.
You will receive tips as soon as this location opens to the public. In addition to base pay, team members also receive tips averaging approximately $4.00 per hour. Tips vary and are not guaranteed; amounts may differ based on location, hours worked, service quality, and customer discretion. Average tips reflect 2024 reporting.
