Required Qualifications (Non‑Negotiable)

2-5+ years of income tax preparation experience

within a CPA firm (required)

Advanced proficiency with

Lacerte

tax software ( required )

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA credential not required, but highly valued)

Recent or current experience working in a public accounting / CPA firm

Demonstrated experience preparing a variety of tax returns, including:

Individual (1040)

Partnership (1065)

C-Corporation (1120)

S-Corporation (1120S)

Trusts and Estates (1041)

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and compliance standards

Experience creating accurate, audit‑ready tax workpapers

Proficiency with QuickBooks and Sage 50 Accounting

Solid Excel skills for tax schedules, reconciliations, and data analysis

Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously

Exceptional attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy

Proven ability to meet deadlines with minimal oversight, especially during tax season

Comfortable working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills when interacting with clients and internal teams

Industry experience with clients in Real Estate, Medical, Restaurants, Legal, and Oil & Gas is preferred

Consistent and stable employment history (no frequent job changes)

Must reside within 40 miles of Tulsa, OK

Onsite role only; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available

Willingness to attend an in‑person final interview

Ability to provide verified professional references during the submission process

Core Responsibilities

Prepare and file federal and state income tax returns for:

Partnerships (Form 1065)

Corporations (Forms 1120 and 1120S)

Trusts and Estates (Form 1041)

Develop and maintain thorough, well‑organized tax workpapers

Ensure all tax filings are accurate, compliant, and submitted on time

Manage multiple client engagements across a range of industries

Uphold high standards of quality control and precision in all deliverables
