
Graduate Assistant/Proctor - eLearning Testing Center

Position Overview
The Graduate Assistant/Proctor for the eLearning Testing Center will perform computer and customer service‑related duties in an office setting. Typical duties include proctoring exams, typing, filing, answering phones, customer service, scheduling appointments, completing reports, data collection and management, data analysis, and use of Microsoft Office suite.
Hours per Week
Up to 25 hours per week.
College/Department Overview
The eLearning Testing Center is part of the Center for eLearning and Connected Environments (CeCE).
Responsibilities
Proctor computer exams.
Answer phones and greet visitors.
Provide customer service to students, faculty and staff.
Data entry, collection, management, and analysis.
Create reports, file and scan documents.
Assist the reception area.
Work on special projects as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Enrollment Requirements
Fall/Spring Semesters: All student employees must be enrolled at least half‑time (5 hours for graduates, 6 hours for undergraduates; full‑time for international students). Summer Semester: Regular student positions require at least 3 credit hours; FWSP positions require minimum 6 credits for undergraduates or 5 for graduates. If the number of credit hours needed to graduate is less than the minimum, submit a letter from academic advisor.

Qualifications / Experience Required
UCO student with a bachelor’s degree; graduate student status preferred.
Computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to troubleshoot problems.
Willingness to learn and work sensitively with diverse backgrounds.
Intercultural communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
Organizational and prioritization skills.
High importance on confidentiality, punctuality, and dependability.
Excellent organization, problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
