Job Overview
Under direct supervision, a Meat Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. Responsibilities include assisting customers, cleaning shelves, managing meat wrap displays, taking special orders, and coordinating with the Meat Cutter for item preparation. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods.
Physical Requirements
Typical fast‑paced grocery store environment requiring lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, with visual and auditory demands.
Required Certifications
Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all positions involving preparation, handling, and serving food.
