Security Systems Lead Technician / Level 2 Technician
Contract‑to‑Hire Opportunity
Overview
We are seeking a Lead Technician or experienced Level 2 Technician who can work independently and is interested in growing into a stronger leadership role. This position supports enterprise‑level electronic security projects and offers training to further develop lead and project supervision skills.
Top Skills & Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience installing, servicing, and programming commercial access control, IP‑based video, and intrusion systems
Minimum 3 years of experience acting as a project lead, responsible for jobsite or task supervision
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to support customer systems remotely using professional diagnostics and troubleshooting methods
Practical, hands‑on knowledge of IP networking
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Responsibilities
Lead or independently execute installation, termination, configuration, and testing of enterprise security systems
Systems include access control, CCTV, IP cameras, intrusion systems, video analytics, IP networks, and visitor management platforms
Lead teams on project installations and ensure work is completed to scope and quality standards
Organize and manage workload efficiently to meet project timelines
Interact professionally with customers while providing general project supervision
Manage quality control and deliver strong customer service
Track project progress and provide status updates as required
Secondary Skills (Nice To Haves)
Troubleshooting and diagnostics
Alarm systems experience
Service and maintenance background
Preferred Certifications / Platform Experience (Not Required)
