Business Analyst
The Business Analyst is responsible for discovering the underlying business need to be addressed and information related to the product and project requirements, often through conversations with stakeholders. They will also organize, specify and model the requirements to ensure they are complete and unambiguous. They will be responsible for documenting the requirements by creating acceptance criteria, user stories, or functional specification documents that can be shared with stakeholders. The Business Analyst ensures the requirements map to the real business need, are approved by all relevant stakeholders, meet essential quality standards (including signoff on test case and test approach) and drive issue resolution related to requirements conflicts.

Responsibilities

Manage the maintenance and execution of all UPC add, delete and price changes, ensuring input into the Ahold system and launch to the stores.

Apply appropriate attributes as part of this process.

Run regular file matches of what is in Ahold's systems compared to Hallmark Master UPC list.

Address any differences.

Manage item maintenance and upload for all promotions.

Manage and execute UPC/sku set up for post‑season markdowns.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED, unless a higher level of education is required for the position.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

3‑5+ years of practical experience in the role and ability to work independently in complex situations and tasks.

Effective interpersonal and communication skills, customer service focus, leadership abilities, ownership, urgency and follow‑through, organizational and planning skills, facilitation skills, and a strong desire to learn.

Experience with selecting appropriate techniques to accomplish business analysis tasks in different situations.

Good working knowledge of most, if not all, areas of business analysis.

Familiarity with and access to key Ahold systems to execute this work; in‑house and remote.

Able to provide a PC and ensure regular access in office and remote.

Pay Range
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
