
Graduate Datacentre Audit Assistant - Washington DC

Overview
We are recruiting graduates at the start of their careers to support live datacentre migration projects across the US East Coast. This role focuses on data collection, accuracy, and structured processes within technical environments. No prior datacentre experience is required. Full training will be provided. You will work alongside experienced engineers, supporting projects by capturing, validating, and managing technical data from physical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Accurately record data from physical equipment, racks, cables, and labels
Capture information such as asset IDs, serial numbers, rack positions, ports, and power details
Maintain structured records using Excel spreadsheets and project templates
Check data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
Work within live datacentre environments, following site rules and instructions
Communicate updates via Microsoft Teams
Follow written procedures, checklists, and method statements
Support documentation and data handover activities
Skills Required
Comfortable working with data and data collection
Confident using Microsoft Excel for structured data entry
Familiar with Microsoft Teams
Strong attention to detail
Able to follow instructions precisely
Organised, reliable, and methodical
Good Communicator (Verbal and Written)
Desirable (Not Essential)
Advanced Excel skills, including Formulas (XLOOKUP / VLOOKUP, IF, COUNTIFS)
Experience working with large datasets
Able and willing to travel as required for project delivery
Educational Requirements
Academic Background
Graduates from technical or analytical disciplines, including:
Computer Science
Networking / IT
Cyber Security
Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Telecommunications
Data, Maths, or Engineering-related subjects
