
Material Handler S/R

Role and Responsibilities
Employee will be responsible for loading/unloading delivery trucks and checking incoming shipments.
Print picklist daily for scheduled production and verify all materials are available.
Use picklist to locate, document, and pull materials from warehouse to production line.
Return materials to warehouse when no longer needed by production, and document return quantities and locations.
Put away finished product in warehouse bin locations, and record quantities and locations in a 5-level warehouse.
Notify management personnel when there isn’t enough room or space to store or put away product.
Operate standup forklift efficiently, in a safe manner, without causing damage to product or equipment.
Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts.
Inspect material handling equipment to ensure it is in good working order and safe to operate.
Additional responsibilities as instructed by Shipping and Receiving Lead or Shipping and Receiving Supervisor.
Adhere to plant GMPs and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
HS Diploma or Equivalent.
Be able to stand, stoop, climb and bend for periods of time.
Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Be able to work in freezer, cold, hot and/or wet environment for 8–10-hour shifts.
Basic literacy (English) and math skills.
Forklift experience of 1+ years.
Warehouse experience of 5+ years.
Certification/Training in Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack.
Allergen Training.
Additional Notes: May be required to have additional training in HACCP and Lock Out Tag Out, as well as help other shipping and receiving team members.
