Scheduler I or II, T&D
The Scheduler, T&D is a key role for successful project planning and execution. The Scheduler I or II is responsible to prepare, monitor, update, maintain, and submit contract schedules on multiple projects as assigned. The Scheduler I or II will collaborate regularly with supervision, project management, and project teams for the ongoing efforts related to project planning & scheduling.

Our company’s Transmission and Distribution (T&D) division offers a comprehensive range of electrical services including transmission, distribution, substation and clean energy construction. We are experienced in delivering reliable, high-quality infrastructure solutions to meet the growing demands of the power and utility industry.

Essential Functions

Perform detailed scheduling, including the development and updating of project schedules, activity relationships, variance reports, and progress updates

Develop and produce project related reports

Attend weekly project meetings to review schedule and plans, gather status updates, and provide continual scheduling support for periodic updates and claims mitigation

Produce quantifiable data for use in mitigating schedule delay and disruption by other trades

Regular and predictable attendance

Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office and an appropriate remote location consistent with Company policy

Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards

Additional Responsibilities May Include

Develop Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules for contracted projects and proposals

Support leadership and multiple project teams by preparing, monitoring, and updating construction schedules in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project

May work with project management to assist with various duties such as writing RFI’s, preliminary schedule to be included in RFP responses, miscellaneous tracking/monitoring, and preparing submittals for the client, i.e. As-Built documents

Develop revenue forecasts from the project plan/schedule and update monthly with guidance from project management

Other duties as assigned

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
Scheduler I

Minimum 2 years of experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software

Minimum 2 years of experience construction scheduling

Minimum 2 years experience with Primavera P6

Experience in transmission, distribution, substation or renewable construction projects preferred

Scheduler II

Minimum 4 years of construction scheduling experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software

Minimum 4 years of construction scheduling experience

Minimum 4 years experience with Primavera P6

Experience in transmission, distribution, substation or renewable construction projects preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; combination of relevant education and experience (minimum 4 years of experience operating Primavera P6 scheduling software) considered in lieu of degree

CST (Certified Scheduling Technician) certification is preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Scheduler I

Advanced proficiency in creating, maintaining/updating and reporting schedules in Primavera P6 scheduling software

Ability to plan, monitor, and report project schedules to customers

Self‑motivated with ability to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills

Strong technical skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Project and Excel

Proactive self‑starter with demonstrated initiative

Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and communication skills

Ability to travel up to 25%

Scheduler II

Expert proficiency in creating, maintaining/updating and reporting schedules in Primavera P6 scheduling software

Thorough knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, and practices

Ability to create and maintain project baselines for frequent schedule updates

Working knowledge of cost, resource loading, and forecasting within scheduling software

Ability to plan, monitor, and report project schedules to the customer

Ability to read and interpret construction documents including contracts and drawings

Self‑motivated and able to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills

Proactive self‑starter with demonstrated initiative

Proficiency with MS Office Suite software, specifically MS Project and Excel

Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and communication skills

Ability to travel up to 25%

Salary $56,548 – 110,000 / year
