HPP/Bottling
Forklift operator duties vary across departments. In the HPP/Bottling area, responsible for storing bins of juice after filling, ensuring the HPP process remains supplied, stocking bin dumpers, and organizing bins to prevent mixing. In bottling, transport materials using NetSuite, organize pallets, manage dunnage, load trailers, locate and deliver empty bins.
Packaging/Packout
Move completed pallets onto the shrink wrap machine, document pallet counts in real time, organize areas, return unused materials, and transfer supplies using NetSuite/RF Smart. Bring supplies for pack‑out and packaging as needed.
General Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Enter transfers accurately and in real time using NetSuite or RF Smart systems.
Effectively use electronic devices for tracking.
Operate equipment safely, quickly, and efficiently.
Report safety concerns or issues promptly.
Report misuse of equipment by other operators.
Document and report work‑related accidents or incidents.
Bottling/HPP
Ensure conveyors do not become backed up while fillers run.
Complete dunnage tasks daily and load trailers with correct dunnage.
Retrieve necessary materials and return unused materials to designated areas.
Supply HPP operations with bins of juice for bin dumpers.
Organize the HPP floor for efficient workflow.
Prevent mixing different types or sizes of juices.
Provide empty bins as needed for B1 and B2 bottling processes.
Maintain organization and cleanliness in Building 2.
Pack‑Out/Packaging
Retrieve materials and accurately record them in NetSuite or RF Smart.
Keep areas organized and pathways clear.
Return unused materials to designated locations and document transfers systematically.
Assist with placing bins on bin dumpers and organizing rework materials.
Ensure all pallets are wrapped properly and documented on pallet count sheets in real time.
Wrap pallets securely to prevent shifting during transport.
Adhere to SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP guidelines in the plant.
Follow verbal and written instructions related to safety, equipment operation, and daily assignments.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Education
GED/Diploma.
Forklift certified.
Job Qualifications
1‑2 years of forklift operation experience.
Proficiency with computers and handheld devices.
Experience with RF Smart systems.
Data entry experience in NetSuite.
Ability to follow company policies, guidelines, and work instructions.
Flexibility to perform various functions.
Experience assisting supervision, management, leads, and operators.
Skilled in paperwork documentation.
Experience as a machine operator.
Knowledge
Active Forklift Certification is required.
Excel knowledge.
Language Skills
Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish).
Able to communicate and talk clearly/effectively.
Ability to read, listen, and understand English.
Bilingual is a plus.
Other Skills
Leadership training.
Working Environment
Regular exposure to wet, cold manufacturing environments (temperatures as low as 35°F).
Occasional exposure to dry warehouse spaces or freezer conditions (down to –10°F).
Frequent exposure to high noise levels (above 85 dBA).
Requires PPE: safety glasses, ear protection, gloves, steel‑toed footwear.
Requires forklift certification, operation, and strict safety protocols.
Basic forklift maintenance, routine inspections, precise loading/unloading.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for entire shift.
Frequent lifting/moving hoses, equipment, chemical containers weighing up to 50 lbs.
Push/pull up to 100 lbs. with continuous motion.
Bend, kneel, squat, climb stairs/ladders, reach overhead regularly.
Hand strength and dexterity to operate sanitation tools and machinery.
Must pass pre‑employment physical.
