Transdev in Colorado Springs, Colorado is hiring a Dispatcher. The Dispatcher oversees road service through communication with Operators and provides customer support to clients. We are seeking customer service‑oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Compensation and Benefits
Competitive compensation package: minimum $22.50–maximum $28.00 per hour
Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
Sick days: employees accrue paid sick leave at a rate that complies with Colorado law, up to 48 hours per year
Holidays: 12 days (8 standard, 4 floating)

Key Responsibilities
Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route adherence and incidents
Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips, including no shows, cancellations and missed trips
Communicate job requirements and responsibilities to drivers
Day‑to‑day scheduling, counseling and submission of evaluation reports to local management
Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators, acting as a liaison between the carrier and emergency services
Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service
Other duties as required
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement required, or the ability to obtain one (paid training available)
3–5 years’ experience dispatching preferred
Strong computer proficiency, including efficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills
Problem‑solving and analytical skills
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed
Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable; DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason

Friday/Saturday/Sunday: 4:30 AM – 12:30 AM
Monday‑Thursday: 4:30 AM – 10:30 PM
Schedule may be irregular
Physical Requirements
Work outside in varying temperature, weather and humidity conditions; may work alone or in remote locations
Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances on possibly sloped ground or uneven surfaces
Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing duties; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes and noise
