Summary

The Recruiter II will provide world‑class recruiting services to the Ryder organization in a cost‑effective manner, continuously searching for and providing state‑of‑the‑art recruitment methodology. The role identifies, recruits, interviews, and recommends candidates for entry and mid‑level, high‑volume positions as well as managerial, technical, and professional positions.
Essential Functions

Source, screen, interview, and refer candidates to hiring managers.
Develop effective working relationships with placement agencies, external recruiters, HR, and business partners to ensure appropriate service levels are met.
Work on staffing issues of moderate scope, analyzing situations or data that require review of a variety of factors.
Ensure compliance with all legal aspects of recruiting.
Promote the organization as an employer of choice.
Additional Responsibilities

Determine the best recruiting avenues.
Contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals.
Effectively assess staffing needs of business units and take appropriate steps to meet service levels.
Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions; maintain internal and some external contacts.
Work in compliance with established procedures and protocols, exercising some judgment as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Four (4) years or more of related experience required.
