Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist/Staff Coordinator for a 13-week travel assignment in Claremont, NH.
Days, 8hr Monday-Friday 24hr guarantee PART TIME NEED
Start Date: 5/18/2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Hourly Pay: $20.00
Non-taxed Stipend: $336.00
Weekly Total Pay: $696.00
Weekend Requirements: None/Holidays required if needed
This need is for a MEDICAL STAFF OFFICE COORDINATOR WHO ALSO MANAGES CREDENTIALING - ON SITE

The Medical Staff Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the medical staff office and credentialing functions for two affiliated critical access hospitals. This position ensures compliance with hospital bylaws, regulatory requirements (CMS, Joint Commission, etc.), and professional standards. The Coordinator serves as a liaison between the medical staff, administration, and governing bodies of both hospitals, ensuring consistent and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage initial and reappointment processes for all medical staff and allied health professionals.
Verify credentials, education, licensure, board certifications, and work history in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Coordinate with department chairs and medical executive committees on privileging decisions.
Schedule and coordinate Medical Staff, Department, and Committee meetings across both hospitals.
Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and follow-up documents.
Assist in the development and maintenance of medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulations.
Serve as a resource for medical staff regarding bylaws, hospital policies, and credentialing.
Ensure compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation and state regulations regarding medical staff processes.
Prepare documentation for regulatory surveys and audits.
Maintain records for peer review, focused/proctoring reviews, and OPPE/FPPE.
Act as primary liaison between the medical staff, hospital leadership, and boards of trustees at local site and between affiliate and system sites.
Facilitate communication between the two hospital systems to ensure alignment of credentialing and governance standards.
Assist in integrating contracted, telehealth, and locum providers as needed across both hospitals.

Requirements
Minimum 2+ yrs current medical credentialing experience is required
Minimum 2+ yrs current Medical Staff Office experience is required
Medical terminology experience is required
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field is preferred
Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and/or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) is preferred
Experience with CAHs, rural healthcare, or multi‑site coordination is preferred
Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
