Freight Breakers LLC is currently hiring motivated and reliable team members for Box Loader/Unloader positions in West Jordan. This is a physically active role ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are driven by performance-based pay.
Job Overview
As part of our team, you will play a key role in efficiently moving freight in and out of trailers while maintaining accuracy and safety.
Loading Responsibilities
Hand-load boxes from a conveyor onto trailers (floor loading)
Scan packages into the trailer using handheld devices
Move cages to and from staging areas
Ensure loads are organized, secure, and handled efficiently
Unloading Responsibilities
Unload boxes from trailers onto a conveyor system
Scan packages and sort them into designated cages
Maintain speed and accuracy in a high-volume workflow
Compensation
Performance-based pay: $150–$200+ per day
Paid per trailer / per case loaded or unloaded
Average earnings: $15–$25 per hour
Top performers can earn $25–$35 per hour
The more efficiently you work, the more you earn
Schedule
1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
10-hour shifts (4-day workweek)
Occasional weekend work as needed
Requirements
Strong attendance and punctuality are essential
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Must be able to lift and carry 5–50 lbs consistently
Capable of sustained physical activity for extended periods
Reliable transportation required
