Position Overview
Meyer Distributing is looking for a Shipping Processor to join our Hugo, MN team!

Job Responsibilities
Pull and process Third Party Orders, including preparing product for shipping via UPS, FedEx, LTL, and occasionally our own Meyer Logistics trucks.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of our WMS software.
Scan product using handheld scanners.
Verify and print correct labeling.
Place packing slips on product packages or on box.
Use banding equipment on product if needed.
Stage product for shipping in proper location for UPS/FedEx/LTL/truck shipments.
Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times.
Wear protective toed shoes and work in a safe manner at all times.
Ensure Box machine and Shipping areas are clean and neat before leaving EOD.
All other duties as assigned.
Preferred Experience
High School graduate or equivalent.
Prior warehouse or shipping experience.
Ability to operate equipment; forklift and manlift (Cherry Picker) experience preferred.
Requirements
Attention to detail; ability to identify letters and numbers.
Comfortable with computer to complete basic functions.
Adaptability to changes in the work environment; manage competing demands and handle frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
Consistent punctuality and follows instructions, responds to management direction.
Oral communication skills with co-workers, supervisors and other employees.
Dependability; consistently at work, follows instruction, solicits feedback to improve performance.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to operate equipment (forklift, manlift, pallet jack, etc.).
Schedule
Monday - Friday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Compensation
$20.00/hr with multiple opportunities for increases in pay.
