Atlas Staffing is hiring a Business Development Manager for a reputable manufacturingcompany located in Liberty Lake!
Summary:
This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes including injection molding, precision machining, and related secondary operations. Travel may be required for customer visits and trade shows, up to 30% of the time. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, maintaining strong customer partnerships, supporting quoting and contract negotiations, and ensuring successful program execution across all assigned accounts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related experience
5+ years in business development, technical sales, or account management (manufacturing preferred)
Experience in injection molding, precision machining, or regulated industries (aerospace, defense, medical) preferred
Proven ability to generate new business and grow customer relationships
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and DFM concepts
Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management
PMP certification a plus
Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills
Willingness to travel up to 30%
Key Responsibilitie
Business Development & Growth
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target industries
Manage sales pipeline and lead full sales cycle activities
Support proposals, negotiations, and closing efforts
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Serve as a key contact for strategic accounts
Ensure customer satisfaction across quality, delivery, and communication
Team Leadership
Lead and support Program and Account Managers
Establish clear roles, accountability, and performance expectations
Resolve customer and program issues
Trade Shows & Events
Plan and execute trade show participation
Develop targeted messaging and track ROI
Support development of event-focused team
Quoting & Program Support
Collaborate with Engineering and Operations on quotes
Align pricing with profitability goals
Support program launches and customer coordination
Market Strategy & Insights
Monitor industry trends and competitive activity
Provide insights to support strategic growth initiatives
Performance Metrics
Track KPIs (pipeline, conversion rates, revenue, customer satisfaction)
Maintain accurate CRM data and report performance to leadership
Wage: $115,000 – $130,000 DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 4:30PM
