Compensation
Base hourly rate: $22.09 per hour, plus benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and tuition assistance.
Position
Warehouse Clamp Truck Operator
at our Winder, GA plant. This role requires dependable, responsible, and quality‑minded individuals with a history of safe work in a manufacturing environment. Schedule is 12‑hour rotating shifts; overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends are required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year forklift/clamp truck experience
Responsibilities
Uses safe work practices and reports hazardous conditions; wears eye, ear, head, yellow safety vest, and face protection as directed. Reports all unsafe conditions to the Senior Warehouse Crew Chief, Warehouse Crew Chief, or Warehouse Supervisor.
Loads, unloads, transports, and inventories finished products, raw materials, racks, pallets, machinery, and equipment manually or with a clamp truck, forklift truck, hand truck, or other suitable equipment. Handles materials in all areas: into and out of truck trailers, within or between departments, service, and yard areas.
Counts and records quantity and description of materials or products produced, loaded, transferred, or otherwise handled. Verifies quantity and description records initiated by others.
Performs physical, clerical, and computer (SAP) duties necessary to prepare goods for shipment and ensures accuracy of shipment using JM provided scanning equipment.
Prepares truck for loading by cleaning, sweeping, and inspecting.
Operates the power sweeper, JLG, and power scrubber as needed.
Performs routine operational and safety checks on mobile equipment.
Changes or refuels batteries using the multi shifter or hydrogen refueling station.
Reports damaged materials, products, or equipment. Performs all clerical functions required to record damaged/hold/rejected materials. Disposes of damaged/hold/rejected materials as instructed.
Re‑bags, re‑labels, or re‑wraps material, stencils, and secures into a unit when necessary. Patches outer wrapping before shipment.
Assists in the instruction and training of new or transferred employees.
