Compensation Range:

$23/hr - $26/hr commensurate with experience

Overview
The IT Technician Level I must be knowledgeable in software, hardware, networking, and other technical aspects. Acts as a liaison between Housing Works, Xerox, Comserv/BCMone (the outsourced IT companies), and other vendors regarding technology and infrastructure. Provide on-site support for end users to improve business productivity.

Responsibilities
Working with the rest of the IT Department to complete projects including but not limited to:

Hardware upgrades and replacements

Windows refreshes

Asset collection, and inventorying

Cable management and cleanup for server rooms and at end user desks

Acting as an escalation point for matters where our managed server provider requires hands‑on or local support for troubleshooting

Maintaining IT compliance by auditing users for Secure Print capabilities

Preparing devices for deployment through a combination of SCCM, Intune, and other MDM software.

Working with the rest of the team to ensure devices are assigned and tracked properly

Maintaining e‑waste inventory and ensuring it is disposed of properly.

Maintaining server rooms at all locations and making sure they are clean and receiving proper ventilation

Maintaining and updating technical documentation as we make changes to the environment and ensuring that users can refer to these for their benefit.

Providing technical support or training to users.
