Position

The Quality Technician will be based in Buffalo Grove, IL and report to the Quality Supervisor.
Responsibilities

Perform dosimetry measurements and daily dose lab activities (releasing, pairing, delivery of dose trays, report generation, cleaning).
Conduct microbiological testing including bioburden, endotoxin, and media assessments.
Perform environmental monitoring using viable air samplers and other advanced lab equipment.
May be required to assist with Corrective Action investigations.
Address environmental excursions that occur in controlled environments.
Identify, escalate and investigate alert/OOS results related to dosimetry, microbial testing and environmental monitoring.
Create and maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records and documentation, following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to move between tasks efficiently.
Maintain good communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Have basic computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with a laboratory information management system (LIMS) is a plus.
Compute in all units of measure (add, subtract, multiply, divide); use whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percentages.
Read and comprehend moderately complex procedures and work instructions.
Think critically, troubleshoot problems and interpret test data independently.
Knowledge of GLP, GMP, USP, ISO and other regulatory standards is a plus.
Work under minimal supervision once fully trained.
Qualifications

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, technical training, or equivalent experience.
Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience, e.g. microbiology.
