Job Overview

Technique, Inc. is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team at our Concord, North Carolina facility. This position is responsible for inspecting components and finished products to determine compliance with engineering requirements. The employee will also create and maintain all documentation and assist with dispositioning nonconforming product. The employee will develop procedures and coordinate efforts for quality system compliance, lead quality and continuous improvement projects in coordination with account managers and the purchasing department, and work with setup technicians, customers, and vendors on quality‑related issues.
The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree in engineering technology or a related field and brings experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. A good understanding of GD&T and blueprints, experience using PCDMIS, and strong root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving skills are critical factors in this role.
Responsibilities

Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to check parts against blueprints.
Program and operate CMM machines by writing and using PCDMIS programs.
Calibrate precision machinery to ensure measurement accuracy.
Work with technicians on part development, providing legible feedback per blueprint specifications and assisting with part development.
Create and complete customer documentation for quality records.
Reverse engineer for process improvement and corrective actions.
Represent Technique with customers professionally.
Requirements

Associate’s degree in engineering technology or related field (preferred).
0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Good understanding of GD&T and blueprints (preferred).
Experience using PCDMIS (preferred).
Ability to use precision measurement tools.
Root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving skills.
Strong communication, time‑management, and computer skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the shift.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
No travel required.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Position Type and Expected Hours

This is a full‑time, non‑exempt position with a minimum of 40 hours per week and overtime as needed. Days and hours required may vary.
Shifts

1st Shift – Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM; Friday, 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
