Paralegal – Family Law & Special Education Law
About Us
Ramage Law Group is a growing, entrepreneurial law firm focused on family law and special education law. Our mission is to help clients navigate difficult legal situations and come through the process in a better place. We are seeking an experienced, client-focused Paralegal who will play a key role in guiding clients through the legal process while supporting attorneys across active cases.
This role is often the first legal team member clients interact with, so the ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and able to communicate clearly with individuals who may be experiencing a stressful time in their lives.
Position Overview
The Paralegal is an essential member of our legal team and is directly involved in many aspects of case management. This position requires someone who can hit the ground running, work with urgency, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The Paralegal frequently serves as a primary point of contact for clients, helping them understand where their case stands and what to expect next.
Key Responsibilities
Support attorneys in case strategy development and preparation
Manage case files, discovery, and legal pleadings
Assist with trial preparation, mediation preparation, and hearings
Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather necessary documentation
Maintain organized case records and deadlines within the firm’s case management system
Help streamline internal processes and improve workflow efficiency
What We’re Looking For
Experienced paralegal who can work independently while supporting multiple attorneys
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency
Comfortable communicating with clients navigating stressful legal matters
Proficiency with legal technology, including Clio or similar case management systems
Experience with document automation tools such as Form Builder or similar platforms
Interest in learning new areas of law
Experience in special education law is not required. We are happy to train the right candidate who is eager to learn.
