Cardiac Monitoring Technician I – Pleasanton, CA
As a Cardiac Monitoring Technician, you’ll play a key role in improving patient care by analyzing ECG data and generating reports, while gaining hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge Holter ECG technologies.

Responsibilities

Receive, analyze, and process incoming ECG transmissions using IDTF software; ensure accurate technical evaluation and timely completion.

Identify and flag irregular or questionable cardiac rhythms and escalated cases to higher‑level technicians or clinical staff.

Review ECG recordings to identify normal and abnormal rhythms, correlate findings with patient reports, and document observations for clinical review.

Adhere to QA standards for all analyzed ECG data, maintaining consistent accuracy and reliability.

Contribute to department success by meeting or exceeding performance standards and key productivity indicators.

Shift Requirements

Initial 4‑11 week training (Mon–Fri, 8:00‑4:30 a.m. / 10:00‑6:30 p.m. PST), followed by a 7‑12 week ramp up and assignment to a 4‑day/10‑hour shift schedule.

Open availability for rotating days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Current Shift Schedules

6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. PST

1:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. PST

9:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. PST

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Vocational Education.

Active CRAT or CCT certification.

Minimum 1 year of ECG/EKG monitoring, interpretation, or analysis experience in a clinical setting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong technical acumen, excellent computer skills, and strong ECG rhythm interpretation (preferred).

Excellent communication, keen attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and ability to thrive in dynamic, fast‑paced environments.

Location & Compensation
US work authorization is required. Candidates must reside within commuting distance to Pleasanton, CA. Relocation benefits are not provided.

Pay range: $23.00 to $35.00 per hour. Additional compensation such as annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long‑term incentives may be offered.
