Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Paralegal
to support attorneys in a fast‑paced litigation environment. This role involves hands‑on involvement in all phases of litigation, with a primary focus on personal injury defense, while also supporting business law and coverage‑related matters. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and thrives managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and post‑trial matters.
Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses, subpoenas, and legal correspondence.
Manage case files, including document organization, e‑filing, and calendaring court deadlines.
Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, medical providers, experts, and insurance carriers.
Conduct legal and factual research related to personal injury defense, civil litigation, and coverage issues.
Summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and investigatory materials.
Assist in preparing insurance coverage opinions by organizing policy documents and supporting legal analysis.
Support business law matters, including contracts, corporate documents, and regulatory filings.
Ensure compliance with court rules and procedural requirements.
Qualifications
Prior experience in
personal injury defense, civil litigation, insurance defense, or business law
strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of litigation procedures and court rules.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and time‑management abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management/e‑filing systems.
High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
