REQ05029# **Join Our Team at Tallahassee State College**## **OPS Simulation Technician**Tallahassee State College is excited to announce a **part-time** opening for the position of **OPS Simulation Technician** in our **Ghazvini Healthcare Center**. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.**What You’ll Do**
As an **OPS Simulation Technician**, you’ll play a key role in implementing simulation training designed to enhance student learning and promote safety and quality in healthcare.The day-to-day responsibilities will include:* Assisting with setting up and cleaning up of simulation environment prior and after the simulation sessions.* Assisting in programming simulators and running simulation equipment during simulations including computer hardware, props, EHR, human patient simulators and audio-visual systems.* Assisting in the development of technical proficiency with all aspects of operation, maintenance support, trouble shooting and repair for all equipment.* Assisting in the coordination of the transport of simulation equipment, as necessary.
Conducting inventory of supplies.* Assisting with data entry for various record keeping. Create moulage and any other needed materials for the simulation sessions as outlined in the scenarios’ checklists.* Other duties as assigned.**Who We’re Looking For**
We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:* High school diploma or its equivalent.* One (1) year of experience with the use of high-fidelity human patient simulators, multimedia equipment, and experience with a variety of medical equipment.* Computer proficiency in PC and Mac-based software applications is also a plus.**HOURS:**
25 hours per week, Monday – Friday with the occasional evening and/or weekend required.**CONTACT:**
