Our client, a leader in innovative energy solutions, is seeking a Data Engineer III to join their team. As a Data Engineer III, you will be part of the Low Carbon Solutions department supporting the CCS100 Fusion Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, adaptability, and excellent collaboration skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Candidates must be local to Houston, TX and able to work onsite.

What's the Job?
Build and optimize data tools that support investment and operational decisions for a scalable carbon capture system.
Implement and revise the data layer of the CCS100 application using the Palantir Foundry platform.
Serve as a knowledge resource for Palantir tools within the team, sharing expertise and best practices.
Convert existing data models into Palantir Ontology representations, ensuring performance and flexibility.
Set up reliable data ingestion and export relationships, validating and transforming data as needed.
What's Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, quantitative sciences, or mathematics, or significant practical software project experience.
Multiple years of experience in building data-heavy applications or working as a data engineer.
Proficiency in building applications within Palantir Foundry, especially with data modeling and Ontology Manager.
Experience with Python for data processing and transformation tasks.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand complex software architectures and data designs.
