Responsibilities
Drive and operate the company’s 26-foot delivery trucks to transport agricultural products within a 180-mile radius
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking tires, fluids, and fuel
Load and unload rolling carts and plant racks using docking bays and lift gates
Maneuver heavy rolling carts (100–460 lbs) in loading and unloading areas
Perform minor maintenance and report vehicle issues immediately to management
Comply with DOT regulations, driver logs, and hours-of-service requirements
Participate in shuttle driving operations between designated exchange points
Water plants when necessary and inspect product quality before delivery
Remove and properly dispose of plants that do not meet quality standards
Assist with seasonal preparation, rack building, setup, and end-of-season teardown
Requirements
Valid driver’s license or acceptable international equivalent (CDL accepted but not required)
Minimum age of 21 years and at least 3 years of driving experience
At least 2 months of greenhouse or nursery experience
Basic English proficiency to read signs and communicate with officials and staff
Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, pushing, and prolonged standing
Willingness to work variable hours depending on weather and operational needs
Ability to pass post-hire drug and alcohol testing
