Senior Data Engineer

– Full‑time –

Cambridge, MA

Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, high‑performance data infrastructure and pipelines to support advanced analytics, business intelligence, and data science initiatives.

Design and implement data pipelines for structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.

Lead the development and management of enterprise‑level data lakes and data warehouses to enable efficient data storage, transformation, and integration.

Build and orchestrate ETL/ELT workflows using SQL and Python to ensure reliable data processing.

Design logical and physical data models to support analytical use cases.

Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver robust data engineering solutions on cloud platforms.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or related field.

At least 3 years of related experience in data engineering.

Experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.

Experience implementing and managing data lakes and data warehouses.

Experience developing and orchestrating ETL/ELT workflows for data transformation and integration.

Experience designing logical and physical data models to support analytics use cases.

Compensation
Estimated salary: $162,553 – $242,353 per year.
