In the 2026–2027 school year, BCA will serve Kindergarten–5th grade. As our village continues to grow, we are seeking a

Physical Education (PE) Teacher

to lead high-quality movement and wellness instruction. This educator will play a critical role in promoting lifelong health, physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among scholars. The PE Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, standards-aligned instruction that supports students’ physical, social, and emotional development.

The Role:

A BCA Physical Education Teacher fosters a culture of health, wellness, and physical activity. This teacher designs and implements engaging lessons that build students’ physical skills, confidence, teamwork, and knowledge of healthy lifestyles. The PE Teacher may work with all grade levels (K–5) and collaborate with classroom teachers to support the whole child.
Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution
Experience:

Experience teaching Physical Education or working with children in a structured setting is preferred
Licenses or Certifications:

Florida Teaching Certification in Physical Education

(highly preferred)
Eligibility for certification will be considered

Create a safe, inclusive, and structured environment for physical activity
Teach and reinforce teamwork, sportsmanship, and character development
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and abilities
Monitor and assess student progress in physical development and skill acquisition
Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to support school-wide initiatives
Maintain and organize equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed
Communicate regularly with students and families about progress and expectations
Contribute to a positive school culture and uphold BCA’s mission and values
