Job Description
Tarleton Law Firm is an estate planning and probate law firm with offices in Dallas, but assisting clients across Texas. The firm is seeking an attorney for the rapidly growing practice. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience. Business formation and transactions and/or real estate experience is a plus. We are seeking an Associate Attorney (Estate Planning & Probate) to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in probate proceedings, draw up estate planning documents, and advise clients on those matters. Only experienced candidates will be considered for this position. Part‑time applicants with relevant experience will also be considered.
Responsibilities
Represent clients in court
Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
Advise clients on business and legal transactions
Comply with all legal standards and regulations
Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
Qualifications
Previous experience in estate planning, probate, and trust law
Familiarity with wills, trusts, guardianships
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to build rapport with clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have excellent attention to detail
